About Alexander
About my practice
My path has involved training and practice in the United States, Europe, India, and other countries. Different schools have given me different ways of understanding people and working with their experience: through conversation, feelings, the body, attention, images, and trance states.
In individual work, I draw on process-oriented therapy, NLP therapy, Ericksonian hypnosis, generative coaching, brief psychotherapy methods, and the practical psychology of the Northern Tradition.
A separate direction of my practice involves regression and depth work. My experience here includes Elman hypnosis, Ericksonian hypnosis, generative trance, shamanic trance methods, and Siddha Yoga.
Different traditions, attention to the individual
Each approach has its own language and possibilities. What matters to me is seeing what fits the person who has come to me: how they experience things, what supports them, what they are ready for, and what they want.
The work starts with your actual situation. We gradually clarify what would need to change for you to find the work useful.
Depth and gentleness
I value both depth in the work and a person's ability to make the changes their own.
Everyone has their own pace. Sometimes a meaningful step becomes possible quickly. Sometimes it takes time to approach a difficult subject, find words, or feel sufficiently grounded.
There is room for concentration, pauses, and doubt. Trust develops gradually. Feedback helps us understand more precisely what is happening and where to go next.
What stays with you
I want the experience of a session to carry over into life: your ability to stay with a difficult conversation, notice a familiar reaction, sense your own decision more clearly, and return to yourself after stress.
Your own steadiness and freedom of choice are among the reference points for the work.
You can come with a specific task or a feeling you cannot yet name. We can start with what is there.
