How might hypnotherapy help with money concerns?
We live in a material world, so questions about money arise from time to time. One particularly puzzling pattern is working hard towards financial wellbeing, holding down three jobs, and learning new skills, yet still not reaching the desired level of income. Systemic hypnosis offers an opportunity to analyse the situation and find answers, sometimes unexpected ones, as well as to work with a neglected area of life through different practices.
Among the common reasons that can obstruct earning money, I would highlight:
1. Childhood beliefs.
We were born in the Soviet system, where class equality was strongly promoted. One of our parents’ aims was not to stand out from the crowd. Having good-quality possessions, a car, or a good apartment could lead to unwanted, sometimes dangerous questions. Add a chronic lack of money, and familiar sayings come to mind:
‘You cannot earn a lot of money through honest work,’ or ‘Being rich is shameful.’
These phrases may not have been addressed directly to a child, but they were heard and absorbed into the unconscious. Such beliefs can be explored in the work; the number of sessions and possible changes are discussed individually, without guarantees.
2. Negative experiences in the family history.
Ideas about family memory and its influence differ. Whatever name is given to the phenomenon, the result is similar: a family pattern gets in the way of financial wellbeing. Looking back through a family history, someone may find a distant ancestor who served the nobility or an aunt exiled to the Gulag. These dark events shape subconscious, and sometimes unconscious, memory and an unhelpful relationship with money.
3. Regression as a way to explore attitudes to money.
Hypnotherapy sessions open up a broad field of work with the subconscious and unconscious. Regression has been experienced positively in relation to money concerns. It involves a gentle entry into hypnotic trance, in which a person may see incarnations. Within this interpretation, past-life images are connected with feelings about money. Combining hypnosis with practices offers a way to explore familiar reactions and attitudes to money. Changes may appear gradually; lasting progress and increased income are not guaranteed.
